The tart, oily aroma of geranium tones the entire body, promotes the activation of metabolism. Geranium oil helps with depressive conditions, nervous disorders. It perfectly relieves nervous tension, the effects of stress, restores peace of mind. Increases mental and physical activity, especially in the elderly.
Application:
Enrichment of cosmetics: 4-5 drops of essential geranium oil (or its mixture with other essential oils in equal parts) mixed with 10-15 g (ml) of the base (vegetable oil, cream, tonic, lotion, mask, shampoo, etc.) . The most effective base oils are sea buckthorn, almond, jojoba, apricot, peach, grape seed, avocado.
For problem skin, the following mixture is recommended: wheat germ oil - 10 ml, essential oils: chamomile - 2 drops, juniper, eucalyptus and geranium - 1 drop each.
With weathered, flaky skin of the hands and coarsened elbows, a mask with sour cream will help. Essential oils are added to fatty, slightly warmed sour cream (1 tbsp): myrrh - 5 drops, geranium and orange 3 drops each, mixed and applied to hands and elbows; keep for half an hour and wash off with warm water.
Massage: For a general massage, mix 4-6 drops of geranium essential oil with 1-2 tablespoons of a carrier oil or cream of your choice. For head massage, geranium essential oil is mixed with base oil in a ratio of 1:3.
Baths: Add 4-6 drops of geranium essential oil pre-mixed with 1-2 tablespoons of an emulsifier (milk, honey, sea or table salt) to a filled bath (37-38 ° C). Procedure time 10-15 min.
Sauna: To aromatize the air in the bath and sauna by applying 3-5 drops of essential geranium oil to hot stones, dilute in 500 ml of water.
Aromatization: Essential geranium oil perfectly deodorizes the room. Add 3-5 drops (per 15 m²) of essential geranium oil or its mixture with other oils to an aroma lamp filled with water and light a candle. The aroma will fill the room. In the absence of an aroma lamp, oil can be applied to a napkin or added to a cup of hot water and placed on a heating radiator.
Check for individual sensitivity. Avoid contact with eyes. Do not use during pregnancy.
