Japa beads Rosewood

Made in Nepal from rosewood beads (Dalbergia latifolia). In translation, japa means repetitive prayer and mala means garland. Rosewood is especially sought after for magnetizing mantras, this means to draw in protection, teachings, love, etc. Rosewood also improves circulation and strengthens the aura while repelling negative energy. This bracelet is finished with a Tibetan snakeknot for good blessings.

Rosewood – actually red sandalwood, these are sacred to Lord Ganesh and are used for work to remove obstacles, protect from negativity, and healing work that involved the blood and circulation; carries a very warm and protective energy.

The beads are used to count repetitions of prayers, chants or mantras to aid one’s focus on the meaning or sound of the mantra. One repetition is usually said for each bead while turning the bead clockwise with the thumb.
